ABOUT THE ARTIST
Adia Millett
Adia Millett is a world-renowned artist who has held exhibitions across the globe, including the Bay Area, Atlanta, LA, New Orleans, Virginia, and Hong Kong. She has taught at Columbia College in Chicago, UC Santa Cruz, Cooper Union in NY, and California College of the Arts.
In researching artists to help transform our Little Free Antiracist Libraries into functional pieces of community art, we were delighted to meet the very accomplished Adia Millett. Her exhibitions have been shown internationally, and we are honored that she partnered with us on one of our very first libraries in Walnut Creek, as well as another coming soon in Burlingame.
Adia also connected us with The Art of It All - Bay Area (@theartofitall_bayarea on Instagram) Curator Charmin Roundtree-Baaqee (@artisluvcontact on Instagram) and her network of talented artists, for which we’re so grateful!
We are forever in awe of Adia’s work and are so grateful for her partnership. Be sure to follow her work on Instagram at @adiamillett
