Get your neighbors and friends involved to raise funds for a Little Free Antiracist Library in your neighborhood through GoFundMe. Easy to set up, all funds go directly to Rise Up Against Racism, a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

STEP 1

Sign Up With Us

If you haven’t already, first complete a form to Be a Steward. Once approved, we will send you an email to join our Campaign on GoFundMe and create a Team, which is essentially your own mini campaign from our larger Campaign.

With GoFundMe, you’ll be able to choose photos from our library, leverage text from our templates and make it your own. You can also point donors directly to your page so they’ll be able to donate to your specific city. All donors who contribute to your GoFundMe campaign will automatically receive a receipt for their tax records.

STEP 2

Join the GoFundMe Campaign

To get started, you can either click the link in the email or the Join button from the Campaign page to start creating a team on GoFundMe.

STEP 3

Create Your Team

Click on Create Your Own Team to create your GoFundMe page.

So that donors can find you, we ask that you use this naming convention when naming your Team:

Your City - Your First Name

Example: Walnut Creek - Jenny

Create an account

Sign up to create an account with GoFundMe Charity: https://www.gofundme.com/sign-up

STEP 5

Customize Your Page

Edit your page to include your personal story and leverage our sample text and gallery of photos.

STEP 6

Publish and Share

Once you are done, share with your social networks, neighbors and friends. Get the word out and start seeing donations come in right on your page. Find resources to share on social media with our Social Media Toolkit. Customize any of these and make it your own!
